Beginning and experienced snipers will benefit from this course of instruction. During eight hours of lecture the officer will learn the fundamentals of the rifle, marksmanship and sniper deployment. Incident debriefs will cover actual sniper engagements and develop the officers decision making process. During the next two days the students will be tested on a variety of skills designed to increase their shooting and decision making skills. They will be evaluated and critiqued during the training culminating in a simulated call-out. The course introduces the officer to a variety of skills that they should continue to incorporate into their training evolutions. This course will provide the police precision marksman/sniper with everything they need to operate, communicate, and train in the sniper community. He is a nationally certified instructor in all categories of firearms and defensive tactics training, and a veteran of the United States Marine Corp.
